To 35 km of the ochre city Marrakech, a green valley extends: the valley of Ourika. In the name of the Ourika river which goes down from high the Atlas. The valley of the ourika continues to safeguard its originality in spite of its proximity of the imperial city Marrakech.

Throughout the road, one discovers Berber villages molten in the mountain. One can seize the occasion to taste the tasty tagines which are cooked on the charcoal during hours. Also, do not hesitate to visit the site of Agmat located at kilometer 28. Preislamic city, where the famous Andalusian poet Bnou Al Abad Mou' tamid XII century is buried.

At kilometer 62, one arrives at the zawiya of Setti fatma and seven cascades. It is the end of the rise towards the tops of the Atlas. From the village of Setti Fatma, the excursions start to discover the wonders of the valley of the ourika. Local guides can accompany you at the time of your excursions. One can negotiate the price with them. And according to your capacities, you have the choice between a two hours excursions to discover the famous cascades of Setti fatma or the rise of the Toubkal mount, which culminates at an altitude 4165 Mr. If not, to admire the landscape and the sight on the solid mass of Yaghour.
