At side of the mosque of Kasba, one of the sites more visited in Morocco is the necropolis royal which made built by the Sultan Ahmed El Mansour el Dahbi " Ahmed, the winner, gilded " who beat Portugal with the battle of the three kings into 1578 and which conquered Sudan. This necropolis royal richly decorated where the Sultan Ahmed El Mansour el Dahbi is buried, the founders as well as the descendants of the dynasty sâadienne, was opened with the public since the year 1917.
The necropolis royal is made up of three communicating rooms – the room of Mihrab, that of the twelve columns and that of the three niches – is characterized by the smoothness from their decoration: columns out of marble, ceilings decorated with carved panels of stucco and cupolas with stalactites out of wooden of cedar.
