Old
property of the sultans in Marrakesh city. Less vast than Agdal,
of ten hectares, this park created towards 1250 is planted beautiful
olive-trees, of some palm trees and cypress.
Place of appointment of in love, it is
superb with laying down sun. In north, among the olive-trees centenaries,
one sees a small Saâdien house of the end of XIX century
(1870) to the green pyramidal roof, Menzeh, which is reflected
in the basin surrounded by a channel supplied with the water of
the Atlas. Of his higher terrace, one can embrace the panorama
of the city and his gardens. In 2003, folk spectacles and fires
of artifices are organized each evening.
